Régis, a 47 years old native parisian and military history enthuisiast, has set up his own tours company “ADRIAN ROADS” in December 2018. At the age of 5 years old he started to sketch soldiers dressed in combats uniforms carrying weapons and holding proudly flags. Since, soldiers and wars history has become his main passion.
Régis enjoys nothing more than sharing his knowledge in both WW1 and WW2 wars and knows all the best places to visit, from German bunkers to restaurants serving the finest local produce !
He takes pleasure walking the battlefields and exploring little known areas. Régis is a very caring individual and a tour of the battlefields with him is a dignified, informative and incredibly moving experience.

ADRIAN ROADS is a fully certified and registered tour company and complying to the strict French legislation (SIRET Number: 844 527 879 00010 RCS Evry).
ADRIAN ROADS’ company is entered into the french Ministery government register (VTC) which rules laws regarding public’ cars transportation with Professional drivers in France.

We do offer day trips from Paris to visit the most importants history spots of both world wars located in France.
Why « ADRIAN ROADS » was choosen as the name of a tour company ?
We wanted to find a name who could perfectly fit (in two words) into the battelfields themes of our tour company and also to be easily remembered and translated by everyone.
ADRIAN
The M15 Adrian helmet was a combat helmet issued to the French Army during World War I. It was the first standard helmet of the French Army and was designed when millions of French troops. Introduced in 1915, it was the first modern steel helmet and it served as the basic helmet of many armies well into the 1930s.. A subsequent version, the M26, was used during World War II.
ROADS
Driving carefully a minivan along differents type of roads all day long that’s what we love to do with our clients never mind the weather forecast.
Roads lead the way for an adventure, symbolize journey, were built with improvement of human technologies and engineering and were walked through by billions of humans beings.
The world’s oldest known paved road was constructed in Egypt some time between 2600 and 2200 BC.
During battles some roads enabled soldiers great victories such like The « Sacred Way » which was given its name because of the vital role it played during the Battle of Verdun in World War I.
« ADRIAN ROADS » passionate team company is motivated by the same core values, namely the sharing of remembrance and transmission of history knowledge in both world wars. We do run our tours in small groups only (Max 8 people) aboard a comfortable and Air conditioned minivan.
